Green Tea Process

Steaming

Raw leaf is steamed to arrest the process of natural withering.

Event 2

Cooling

Steamed leaf is then cooled to lower temperature of processed leaf.

Event 3

Rolling

Cooled leaf is rolled at varying pressures and duration.

Event 4

Drying

Rolled leaf is dried to reduce moisture content in the final product.

Event 5

Sorting

Tea is graded into Whole Leaf, Brokens & Fannings. Stalks are extracted using a colour sorter.
